I hope all of you in Canada or the US enjoyed a lovely long weekend. Mine was full of sunshine, long walks, family and ice cream sandwiches!
After the final entries rolled in, Lisa and I spent Saturday morning studying the posts and scoring each recipe against the judging criteria.
Last night at midnight was the deadline to enter the Raw Ice Cream Sandwich Challenge, and Lisa and I are now drooling over all the mouthwatering entries. This weekend, we will narrow down the 12 entries to three finalists based on the judging criteria, recreate the recipes in Lisa’s kitchen, and host a tasting party to determine the winners.
Lisa and I had so much fun with the Raw Cake Pop Challenge we hosted in April, we’d like to invite you to take part in a new challenge for June. This time, we’re asking you to redesign the standard ice cream sandwich with a raw twist to help make our summer frozen treats more fun.

It seems we all love a good challenge. Lisa and I have decided our idea for a raw cake pop challenge is a go! I hope you’re as excited as we are to create a raw vegan version of the ever-popular cake pop, because you’ve got four weeks to get creative and enter to win some amazing prizes.
I’m constantly amazed by the ripple effect of inspiration that comes from the food blog world. When one blogger tries something new and presents it to the world with positive energy and excitement, everyone feels that energy, and before too long they’re making their own daring creations and inspiring others around them, too.
