about

My name is Nicole and I'm a writer, editor, wife, and mother of two adorable rescue cats, Leola and Eli. I love animals too much to eat them, and I've discovered that teaching others through food is an effective vegan outreach tool—otherwise known as baketivism. I began developing wholesome, all-natural vegan dessert recipes to inspire others to think differently about what they eat, and I have yet to meet a person who refuses to take a second bite of my sunbutter bites or raw coconut brownies.

In 2010, I had the opportunity to perfect my craft by completing the Vegan Baking Boot Camp Intensive training program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC. I started this blog shortly after graduating.

There is nothing more rewarding than sharing my passion with the world and realizing my skills have the potential to change lives, change habits, and even change the world, just by encouraging others to celebrate the deliciousness of a plant-based diet. So, I dedicate this blog to every person out there who has a sweet tooth and an open heart.

You can also find my recipes on Baking is Hot, One Green Planet, and This Dish is Veg.
